About

Hi, my name is Chantal.

Let me share a little bit about myself and how I use my professional and life experience to empower others.

I grew up in a small town in the Netherlands.

I moved cities, countries and continents for my studies, for work and to live where the sun shines and shoes are optional.

After a Bachelor and Master in Sport and Exercise Science, I recently completed a PhD in elite athlete wellbeing. This gave me the privilege of working with some of Australia’s best athletes.

My current home is a 1998 Toyota Landcruiser (Troop carrier) which my partner and I have build into our adventure headquarters. At the moment we are travelling around Australia together.

The rubber of my motorbike tyres has touched the roads of 34 nations. My longest journey was a 15-month solo adventure from Australia overland across Asia to Europe.

My education and professional experience have provided extensive knowledge of human behaviour and performance. This combined with a life lived beyond the bounds of societal expectations, and a genuine passion to help others, makes my coaching practices both grounded and flexible.

I strongly believe that with the right tools, mindset and skills, we are all capable of creating a fulfilling life that we absolutely love. A life that takes us beyond what we imagined to be possible.

When we are happier and more fulfilled because we are living our dreams, we are better to the people around us and the planet as a whole. It is a win, win, win.

It is therefore my mission to enable as many people as possible to live their dreams through coaching them.

When people tell you about their travels and achievements, you might think “Wow, I could never do that!”.

Yet these people aren’t extraordinary, super human or fearless. Through my book chronicling my motorbike travels around Australia, I aim to inspire others to embark on their own journeys.
